We are so happy to honour Kaitlyn who passed away during the pandemic. While she missed out on the full in-person Celebration of Life her memory reached many through her live stream ceremony.
We don’t have enough room on this page to write everything we need to describe Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was the definition of loving, caring, beautiful, strong, warrior, fighter, present day Wonder Woman, determined, driven, inspirational, athletic, family oriented, best sister ever, amazing friend, supportive girlfriend, caring devoted and loving daughter, full of laughter, and this list can go on and on. She had passion and drive for anything and everything she set her mind to do. She has touched many hearts all over this world.
Here are some of the many heartfelt tributes from her and her family friends shared at her time of passing.
They give you a glimpse into the Amazing young woman who left us too soon.
I had The privilege of
meeting Tamara and her family when I was 17 and worked with her mom, Tamara I met
Kaitlyn she was this shy 13 year old Little girl as time passed and she got
older she came to work in the same Restaurant where her Mom and I worked. She wanted
to work in the kitchen and me. Being in the kitchen I would look out for Kaitlyn and show her the Ropes of how everything is done in the kitchen like her Mom Tamara
did for me when I was that loud little boy in the dish pit. Anything I taught
Kaitlyn in the kitchen she would try her best even if she wasn’t good at it. She
never gave up. She always tried her absolute best for that I was so proud when
she got her volleyball Scholarship I felt even more proud to say I know that
girl she is one amazing person. That’s my memories of Kaitlyn Kelly. Love always

Kaitlyn was an excellent volleyball player for the Cameron Heights Golden Gaels and I had the honour of being one of her coaches. She was a powerful attacker and fierce defender who brought earned a WCSSAA Championship for us. Her confidence shown in athletics, and she loved a good competition. I am very saddened by her passing and my thoughts are with you. Love Coach Sandy Fallis
I played on the same Monday night volleyball team with Kaitlyn. We didn't get to finish the year because of COVID but I think we would have won even though Kaitlyn got sick and was not feeling well. She kept playing. It is going to be incredibly hard to go back and not see her there. I didn't know her long but I will remember her forever. I joined the livestream from Waterloo to say goodbye. Bethany Gretzinger
Our family was lucky to have known Kaitlyn - her overall demeanour was so kind, welcoming and loving. She had a way of lighting up a room without having to say a single word. We are so sorry to Kaitlyn’s loved ones for this indescribable loss, but we take peace in knowing she is no longer in pain. Nicole Smeenk
